The Role
The Social Media Photographer will play a significant role in the evolution of J/PR’s internal production capabilities as we continue to push the boundaries of content production in creative and efficient ways. The ideal candidate has demonstrated excellence in social media-focused photography, is a subject matter expert in best practices for Facebook and Instagram, and is considered a trendsetter when it comes to creating beautiful and engaging content. This individual will contribute strategically and tactically to the success of each social media campaign, overseeing all aspects of content production: scoping, bringing ideas and concepts to life, overseeing talent / props / vendors, shooting, editing, and delivering the final products to clients. As a leader on content missions, you must be highly organized, thorough, level-headed, and resourceful. You have demonstrated success planning ahead, mitigating risks, and solving client content needs.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills due to frequent collaboration between our social media department and our clients. You must have the demeanor to work side-by-side with J/PR’s senior management and with clients in a fast-paced working environment. The content producer must be able to multitask through long hours and ever-changing directives while maintaining a diplomatic and problem-solving attitude.
